EZ Loader has been manufacturing boat trailers in Spokane, Washington since 1954. In the first year of boat trailer production in 1954, EZ Loader sold around 100 trailers, increasing that to 1,000 trailers produced and sold in 1959. In 1962, EZ loader invented the all roller trailer and was granted a patent on its design in 1964. It became so popular in the Northwest U.S. and Western Canada, that the Midwest, East Coast and Canadian Trailer Distributors took interest in the line and started selling them to their dealers in the mid 60's. EZ Loader's sales grew rapidly through the 70's and 80's to over 60,000 trailers a year.
In the mid 80's, EZ Loader purchased two custom trailer manufacturers. TI Trailers (now called EZ Loader Midway Division) became part of the EZ Loader team when it was purchased in 1984, and Custom Frames (now called EZ Loader Custom Division) was acquired in 1988 to complete the product line along with EZ Loader Southeast and EZ Loader Midwest. The 90's saw many new product innovations as well as the addition of three more distribution centers on the West Coast.
Today the company is made up of ten divisions; EZ Loader - Spokane, Washington; EZ Loader Northwest - Portland, Oregon and Maltby, Washington; EZ Loader Southwest - Sacramento, California; EZ Loader North Central - Wheaton, Minnesota; EZ Loader Midwest - Elkhart, Indiana; EZ Loader Southeast - Port St. Lucie, Florida; EZ Loader Customs - Tullahoma, Tennessee; EZ Loader Customs - Midway, Arkansas; and the Corporate Headquarters in Airway Heights, Washington. The most recent addition in the year 2000 was EZ Loader Las Vegas, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to their corporate distribution, EZ Loader is fortunate to have a group of dedicated and professional independent distributors. Marine dealers of the East Coast, Mid South, Canada and Japan are supplied with EZ Loader product through various independent distributor locations. These distributors are a vital part of EZ Loader's continued success.
EZ Loader is still dedicated to the same philosophy of quality and service that began in 1954 and which has continued over the years.
