Berwin & Berwin was started in 1885 but then established in the UK in the 1920's. The company is a fourth generation manufacturer and distributor of men's and women's tailoring. Following the recent acquisition of the Hungarian based producer ELIT International the company now produces in excess of 16,000 suits per week with a workforce of 2,100 employees.
Berwin & Berwin is now a Pan-European organization with three sites in Yorkshire, five in Hungary and Sales Offices in London and Paris. The head office is situated in the center of Leeds.
Malcolm Berwin, the grandson of Barnett, joined the business in 1951 and now is President. His son, Simon, joined in 1973 and today is Managing Director.
