Aquafabric S.r.l. was set up in 1962 as a weaving company which produced fabric for raincoats mainly on behalf of the sister company Aquarama S.p.A. of Verona. During the seventy's it started the production of fabrics for foulards and only in the nineties the Smeralda line was established in order to offer a range of finished fabric ready for manifacturing. Today Aquatex is an European leader of fabric for lady accessory and has played a relevant role in the upper - middle market for women 's wear fashion.
Since the first of January 2002 the corporate name of Aquatex srl changed in Aquafabric srl.
Through two production structures in Montecchia di Crosara (Verona) and through the integration of other companies of the Bonazzi Group, Aquasava (weaving mill, printing) in Slovenia and Aquacolor (dying and finishing mill) in Erba (Como), our production process is completely integrated with a vertical cycle which goes from the processing of spinning to the final fabric:
- texturising and twisting of synthetic and artificial yarn
- warping and sizing
- dobby and jacquard weaving
- preparation + finishing
- printing + ennobling
- the quality assurance.
As a customer oriented company, we have been focusing particular attention to the complete organization such as paying attention to the standard procedures to follow in every moment of the production process, to be able to give our customer the service adeguate to their expectations. The ISO 9002 certification gives us and our customers the guarantee that this is the way to follow. Our fabric, dyed or printed, is responding to the standards which guarantee no use of injurious substances and the safeguard of the consumer health.
