Established in 1977 at Piraeus, is one of the major companies in the field of environmental protection. Its main activity is the research, development and application of new technologies in the protection of the environment in Greece and in the wider region of Eastern Mediterranean. The capability, responsibility and significant social contribution of the company services have been early recognized by Greek institutions leading to its awarding in 1992 in the name of its Managing Director Mr John Polychronopoulos by the Athens Academy and Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA). Since 1997 E.P.E. S.A. is associated member of INTERTANKO. E.P.E. S.A. recently obtained the ISO 9001 quality certificate.
