Company Profile

G&G Technology, Inc. has developed and commercialized modern electromotive coil technology with the mission to significantly increase the performance standards for all electric motors, and to leverage its leadership in the development of electric motors with these unique performance characteristics:

High Power-to-Weight Ratios
High Operating Efficiency
Zero Cogging Torque
High Temperature Capability
Low Cost Power per Watt Output
Wide Range of Speed and Torque Capabilities
Autoclavable
This patented technology has application with both brush type and brushless motors where high electrical efficiency and high power is required in a smaller package. These are high performance devices manufactured without the use of magnet wire in either the armature or stator. Motor Engineers are excited about this new coil technology because it is not restricted by the design limitations of conventional wire wound devices. With no wire in the coil, engineers have a new opportunity to maximize electromotive device performance. This new technology is not to be confused with Printed Circuit Motors, Flex-Circuit Motors or Laminated Circuit Motors.

The innovative ThinGap™ Armature and Stator designs and unique manufacturing process use proprietary equipment to produce motors with an exceptionally narrow magnetic air-gap to maximize magnetic flux density. The technology is being applied to the design of Low inertia, ironless core brush motors featuring high speed, rapid acceleration and deceleration plus high electrical efficiency. Brushless motors, with patent pending high inertia rotors and exceptional operating efficiency are powering non-uniform load applications where electrical conservation or battery life is critical. These slotless motors have no lamination stack, therefore no iron losses or cogging losses. The low-speed control range of these motors is outstanding and allows the motor to be operated at speeds well below the conventional brushless motor. Motor efficiencies above 90 percent may be attained with both Brush and Brushless designs.
