SL-MTI's heritage spans 50 years. Over the years, we have developed and built a reputation for excellence through our ability to deliver high performance, cost effective quality products with exceptional design-to-production cycles and manufacturing lead times. This strong tradition is the basis for our compliment of existing designs and our strong technical leadership. SL- Montevideo Technology, Inc. serves the aerospace and commercial and military markets, from our main facility in Montevideo, Minnesota and a Mexican subsidiary in Matamoros Mexico. Today, SL-MTI offers one of the most comprehensive, high quality motor and controller product lines available in our industry, to meet virtually any high power density requirements. Our current products include a broad range of brushless and brush type DC motors, induction motors, limited angle torque motors, sensored and sensorless drives, DSP controllers, phase advanced vector controllers, and a broad based expertise in precision windings. SL-MTI is one of a select few manufacturers producing system based solutions. Providing both motors and controllers, we are able to provide concurrent engineering with our customers to arrive at an optimally designed system solution. The company's products can be found in a wide range of aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications. These include missile flight control actuation, aircraft secondary and primary control service actuation, optical scanners, high performance blowers, medical, robotic, textile, polishing and grinding, aircraft environmental control, utility traction, and specialty products, including electrical power generation.
