Holmatro Industrial and Rescue Equipment is a Dutch company established in 1967. Originally Holmatro bought and sold high-pressure hydraulic equipment for the ship building industry. Soon, however, many other industrial customer groups such as heavy transport, building and construction, maintenance, heavy industry etc. were being served by Holmatro. In the early seventies we started manufacturing in our own right, soon to be followed by the introduction of a second important equipment line: rescue tools.
From the earliest years Holmatro® tools have been exported to customers all over the world. To support these customers, Holmatro has a network of dealers in over 120 countries. (see sales & service network). Holmatro has two manufacturing plants: the head office in the Netherlands and the factory established in the USA in the early eighties.
Holmatro core activities :
The industrial equipment product line consists of a wide range of lifting, bending, cutting, pulling and spreading tools. This includes pneumatic and mechanical tools as well as high-pressure hydraulic tools. Holmatro’s activities comprise the whole chain concerning these tools, from the initial research phases before a tool is developed, up to and including servicing and certification of tools already in use. Our experience has taught us that only in-house research and development - by our own team of engineers - can provide the technical expertise needed to offer adequate solutions. Ultra-modern production facilities with completely integrated automatic production cells ensure that our products meet the high standards we set.
