MAGEBA

Company Profile

The company, founded in 1957 by Hans Stang in Wuppertal-Barmen, initially concentrated on continuous dyeing and finishing ranges. Soon various other machinery sections were added resulting in an impressive comprehensive product-line. MAGEBA can now equip complete narrow fabric weaving plants from warping to weaving and through dyeing and finishing up to the make-up section. In 1967 MAGEBA moved to Bernkastel-Kues/Mosel, centrally located in one of the most beautiful cultural sites of Europe and it is here where the main growth took place justifying becoming one of the internationally leading narrow fabric machinery suppliers. In 1969 Hans-Peter Stang, the son of the company's founder and owner of the MAGEBA group, joined the enterprise, followed recently by his son Oliver and so the continuance of the family directed business is assured. From the outset a major company policy was to establish a close contact to both the client and the suppliers of connected matters such as chemicals, yarns etc. and so foster the reciprocal information exchange for the benefit of all concerned. MAGEBA's efforts to internationally enhance and maintain the dialogue are now supported by more than 40 agencies throughout the world, some being MAGEBA's own subsidiaries with strong technical backgrounds and abilities. MAGEBA is a medium-sized enterprise without excessive overheads. Hence we have flexibility and possibilities to address to client's requirements in a good manner of price and performance.
