      Our products are designed from close working relationships with our customers. We also contribute to the development of industry standards, including NBASE-T™, Camera Link®, Gigabit Ethernet, and the GenIcam standard for software access.

                  • Why OctoPlus?
                    Teledyne e2v has developed and manufactured OCT CCD cameras for the last decade, supporting the transition from Time-Domain OCT to Spectral Domain OCT. The intense research activity and broadened use of OCT for medical practices, has generated a number of new uses to improve patient care (e.g. functional imaging or large field of view imaging), which existing OCT CCD camera technologies are unable to address (in particular fast A-scan rates). With OctoPlus, Teledyne e2v brings a solution to future generations of OCT by providing a dedicated camera platform using CMOS technology to speed up image acquisition while also improving image quality.

                    The EM1 features unmatched electro optical performances. The camera embeds an advanced GPIO that meets with the latest Genicam standard and SNFC v1.2.1 in order to bring the user the most versatile solution and the needed interoperability to deal with peripheral components such as trigger signal generators.

                    A user friendly software package is also released with the camera and includes iPORT PureGEV suite from Pleora as well as standard/high performance drivers.
                  • AViiVA EM2 0.5k-4k mono

                  • The EM2 is designed to be the best choice for mid-range applications, with resolution from 0.5k to 4k pixels.

                    The brand new electronics and CCD design give excellent results in terms of image quality and signal to noise ratio. Coupled to a rich feature set, such as automatic FFC, LUT, or automatic tap balance, it is an ideal choice for demanding inspection applications.

                  • AViiVA EM4 0.5k-4k mono

                  • The AViiVA EM4 sets new standards for line scan cameras in term of speed and image quality. With resolutions of up to 4096 pixels, and the design of a new CCD image sensor, it delivers state of the art performance, without compromise.

                    It has comprehensive built-in features including; automatic FCC, LUT or automatic tap balance which position it as the perfect choice for high demanding machine vision applications.

                    The EM4 benefits from Teledyne e2v’s long experience in imaging, and the proven qualities of the AViiVA family; performance, reliability and high precision mechanical design.
                  • AViiVA SM2 0.5k-4k mono

                  • This smarter camera offers improved accuracy, versatility and easy implementation and can be interfaced with all major Camera Link and LVDS frame grabbers.

                    The compact mechanical design incorporates all sensors from 512 to 4096 pixels (10 or 14 micron pixel size) and can operate up to 12 bits with flat-field correction and contrast expansion functions.

                    All features combined, the AVIIVA SM2 is ideal for demanding industrial applications such as food sorting, wood or currency inspection, CD or DVD quality control or flat panel displays.
                  • AViiVA SC2 4k colour

                  • This member of the AVIIVA™ range of cameras features a 4K pixel colour sensor with a 10 micron pixel size and an RGB colour pattern (1365 x RGB pattern).

                    This smarter camera supports both Camera Link, LVDS interface and is operable within a dynamic range of 8, 10 or 12 bits with dedicated electronics. With additional flat-field correction capabilities, contrast expansion functions, white balance and colour space correction, this camera is the perfect alternative for industrial applications requiring low-cost colour capture. Furthermore, one will avoid the usual problems observed with tri-linear sensors on optical alignment and object synchronisation.

                    • Teledyne e2v is the leading supplier of scientific grade Charge CCD30-11 - 2_bCoupled Device (CCD) image sensors for the most challenging low light imaging and spectroscopy applications.

                      Teledyne e2v’s advanced back-thinning and anti-reflective coating technologies coupled with our low noise readout circuits allow our standard range of CCDs to meet the high performance requirements of scientific applications in wavelengths ranging from X-ray to NIR.

                    • EM (Electron Multiplication) is a technology that uses on-chip gain in the charge domain to effectively eliminate read noise from an image sensor. This enables advanced ultra-low light applications that require extreme sensitivity at fast frame rates. Examples include life science applications such as single molecule detection, super resolution microscopy and spinning disk confocal microscopy along with physical science applications such as nanotechnology imaging, Bose Einstein condensates and soft X-ray spectroscopy, and astronomy applications such as adaptive optics and lucky imaging. The inclusion of an additional conventional output allows further flexibility for applications such as true 24 hour surveillance.

                        All Teledyne e2v devices can be supplied partially or fully customised to fit the application and achieve the best possible system performance. CCD image sensor design, manufacture, test and characterisation are carried out in-house enabling control from start to finish. Multi-polysilicon, multi-metal and back-illumination options are available for high resolution, high sensitivity and very low noise.

                        The combination of Teledyne e2v’s back-thinning technology and anti-reflection coatings enables industry leading quantum efficiency that can be optimised for applications in the visible, UV or NIR wavelength ranges.
