Advancing from the specifications of the existing THE400 SCARA, the THE600 has been developed to meet growing demand for fast-cycle automation. The THE600 model includes improvements in synchronised control and tracking precision.

The THE600 is compact in design and offers improved high speed, with 60 per cent higher payload capacity than competing SCARA models in the same price range, making it the price-to-performance leader.

Next Generation TS5000 Controller

The TS5000 controller has been designed from the ground up to be Industry 4.0 compliant and to provide Shibaura Machine a platform for the next generation of industrial robots.  The controller platform has been designed with dedicated edge computing protocols, which, in combination with vibration analytic tools and AI, can generate predictive maintenance profiles unique to each customer application, ideal for reducing or even eliminating downtime. The THE600 is the first model offered with this new TS5000 controller, with more models on the horizon.
