The esse 850 LE.

The esse 850 LE is a further development of the esse 850 and responds to the requirement for easy handling and comfort even more. LE stands for “luxury” and “efficiency”.

The carbon rig means that there is no need for a backstay in the esse 850 LE. Together with the self-tacking jib, this provides the ideal solution for sailing the boat, either with a partner or alone. Additional comfort is provided by the teak cockpit floor and a modern electric inboard engine, which is also available as a petrol or diesel engine on request. The mainsail stays fixed to the boom and is attached to the mast on ball-bearing mounted slides. The jib, of course, is also rolled and is permanently attached. So you can sail away in a flash.

The esse 850 LE is made of glass-fibre sandwich construction with epoxy resin. The rig is made entirely of carbon, as are the gennaker boom and tiller.
