Features

The microfiber used in the pleated depth filter cartridges are particularly uniform and are thermally bonded to a homogeneous filter layer. The resulting micropolypropylene filter matrix is considered to be the most effective deep cartridge filter and has the highest efficiency for very difficult to filter fine particles.

Other properties

The microfiber filter matrix cannot be recognized with the naked eye, but rather appears as a closed filter layer. Only under the microscope can the fine depth filter layer be easily recognized. The long service life of these extreme ultra-fine filter cartridges is due to the pleating of the thin filter medium, which creates a particularly large filter surface.

Application

The pleated depth filter cartridges with all their advantages are mainly used for fully demineralized ultrapure water for luxury and food products, for cosmetics or for ultrapure chemicals in the semiconductor industry.
