Rotor shafts

Rotor shafts, which are used in electric motors, are usually massive shafts with a small diameter. These rotor shafts do not have a high weight per se, but the small inner diameter of the shaft is the reason that a large laminated core is needed, which gives the complete rotor its high weight. For electric drive motors, the extra weight results in a reduction of the range of the vehicle. In order to make the production of these components as efficient and economical as possible, WEISSER develops process-safe complete solutions with various loading systems such as robots or gantry loaders in order to be able to offer customers an integrated manufacturing system.
