Application of pressure comparison test pumps

The LR-Cal pressure comparison test pumps are used to generate pressure for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments by comparison measurement. These pressure tests can be performed stationary in the laboratory or in the workshop.

If the measuring device to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference measuring device are connected to an LR-Cal comparison test pump, the same pressure acts on both measuring devices when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, a check of the accuracy or an adjustment of the pressure gauge to be tested can be made.

The LR-Cal pressure comparison test devices enable simple and accurate test pressure generation. For precise adjustment for accurate comparison testing, the LR-Cal comparison test pumps have a fine adjustment valve (pneumatic models) or a particularly finely adjustable spindle (hydraulic models). The pressure generation is possible in each case with extremely low effort, through the use of high-performance spindle pumps.
