Mine Alarm

Marsh gas is an unconventional natural gas produced naturally in coal seams, also known as coal-bed methane. It will be released as the coal is mined. When the gas generated in the coal mining process reaches a high concentration, there will be a danger of explosion. To ensure the safety of coal mining production, it is necessary to monitor the methane gas concentration during coal mining process in real time.

There are two kinds of solutions: first one is to install a methane alarming system in the underground working environment. When the methane concentration increases to the alarm limit, the alarming system will perform timely to avoid further explosions. Second one is to dispense a portable methane detector for every miner. It can detect the methane concentration in the coal mine more quickly and flexibly, ensuring the personal safety of workers to the maximum.

Based on the principle of non-dispersive infrared (NDIR), Cubic has developed a miniature infrared methane sensor SJH, which can detect the concentration of methane gas in the air in real time, and promptly alarm when the methane concentration exceeds the safety limit.

1. Using the principle of non-dispersive infrared (NDIR)

2. Quick response and accurate measurement

3. Long-term operation without drift

4. Meet the explosion-proof grade Exia ⅡC T4 Ga

Cubic miniature infrared carbon dioxide sensor SRH is available in a small size, which is easier to be integrated into any online monitoring system.
