SW40

Brief description

With its Ø 40 mm aperture, the SW40 liquid bath blackbody is designed for calibrating thermal imaging cameras and Infrared Radiation Thermometers (Pyrometers). The cavity is heated with high uniformity by the surrounding circulating liquid and has a high temperature stability with an optimal emissivity.

SW15

Brief description

The SW15 is used as a portable or stationary blackbody that has a fixed set-point temperature. 100 °C is the standard radiator temperature.

Brief description

The HEITRONICS SW11 blackbody is used for calibrating and verifying the accuracy of Infrared Radiation Thermometers (Pyrometers) and thermal imaging cameras. The cavity has Ø 25 mm aperture with 145 mm length. SW11 achieves an emissivity of ≥ 0.99 and may be heated up to 1000 °C.

SW10

Brief description

The HEITRONICS SW10 blackbody is used for calibrating and verifying the accuracy of Infrared Radiation Thermometers (Pyrometers) and thermal imaging cameras. The cavity has Ø 25 mm aperture with 105 mm length. SW10 achieves an emissivity of ≥ 0.99 and may be heated up to 400 °C.

ME30

Brief description

With its Ø 60 mm aperture, the ME30 liquid bath blackbody is designed for calibrating thermal imaging cameras and Infrared Radiation Thermometers (Pyrometers) at a temperature range from -20 °C to 350 °C. The cavity is heated with excellent uniformity by the surrounding circulating liquid and produces superb stability and emissivity. Traceability to national metrological institutes with HEITRONICS transfer radiation thermometer TRT or an RTD-Pt100.

  • Cavity dimensions: Ø 60 mm aperture , 300 mm length with wedged back wall
  • Emissivity: 0.9994 ± 0.0002
  • Temperature non-uniformity: ΔT < 0.1 … 0.5 °C for the 200 … 300 mm cavity depth
  • Standard uncertainty: 0.15 … 0,7 °C
  • Short heat-up time: approx. 1 h
  • Nitrogen purge tubing to suppress formation of condensation or ice build-up
  • Temperature range: 50 °C … 350 °C, with external chiller to -20 °C
