The fundamental idea behind this automation solution: Standardized hardware and software for radically simplifying processes at all levels — from planning through commissioning and on up to daily administrative tasks. Therefore, the flexROOM® distribution box will always feature a uniform factory setup and come equipped with all automation functions. Not one single line of programming code has to be written by the user.

Instead, all individual settings are made by mouse click and parameters entered on the graphic user interface. The software is stored locally in the flexROOM® distribution box and can be accessed from any Internet browser. To ensure that all project-specific differences function properly from the start, flexROOM® orients itself on the room axes. Each axis is provided with the same functions across all disciplines: with a sunblind control, two lighting circuits and an individual room control.

All of the parameters stored in the controllers are available at any time via an open interface as a data record, enabling flexROOM® to be fully integrated from any higher-order position. Enhancing the flexibility, ease of use and independence gained by system installers, are further financial and ecological benefits: flexROOM® automatically fulfills all legal requirements prescribed by the Energy Conservation Act and Energy Conservation Regulation.AGO.
