On the international trade fairs LogiMAT 2013 and IMHX 2013, psb presented the latest\u00a0vario.sprinter<\/i>\u00a0generation. By utilizing modern materials, the original weight could be reduced by 50 %. The new psb\u00a0vario.sprinter<\/i>\u00a0shuttle promises new dimensions in efficiency and allows an as yet unequalled flexibility in the warehouses as well as the related material flow processes. In return, improved performance rates and dynamic behavior imply a higher degree of process reliability. Finally, the control technology of each individual shuttle has been completely revised and simplified considerably, yet by maintaining the highest demands on availability.<\/p>\n

Thinking across industries in distribution and production logistics is the basis of psb\u2019s innovative approaches. Especially in shuttle technology, this is of increasing importance: the design parameters have to be analyzed thoroughly, in order to point out to the customers and potential buyers the difference to AS\/RS stacker crane systems. This is one of the major advantages of psb, because both, AS\/RS stacker cranes and shuttles, are built at our own premises. Each project is analyzed with view to the application of stacker cranes or\u00a0vario.sprinter<\/i>\u00a0shuttles. With the current stacker crane series and the latest\u00a0vario.sprinter<\/i>\u00a0generation, we have answers to the most different tasks of our customers. In combined operation with the VDI-awardedrotapick\u00a0<\/i>high performance order picking system, this is the modular warehousing and order picking concept of the future.<\/p>\n
