MPDV presents the new industry solution \u201cHYDRA for Metals\u201d at this year\u2019s EMO in Hannover. The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) has been customized specifically to cater to the needs of metal processing \u2013 a sector requiring far more than other industries.<\/b><\/p>\n

HYDRA for Metals is based on the approved functions complying with the VDI 5600 guideline of the MES solution HYDRA that has been customized and enhanced by special functions to cater to the needs of metal-processing companies. The functions range from applications for foundries, rolling mills, heat treatment, coating to mechanical processing and packing. Selected highlights of the solution are functions for composition, roller maintenance and processing centers. Consequently, HYDRA for Metals ideally supports the complex processes in metal processing resulting from special production technologies, extensive value-added chains and multi-level production processes.<\/p>\n
