YASKAWA\u2019s IE4-compliant SPRiPM permanent magnet motor is now available as a package solution with an inverter drive. This means that plant manufacturers can simply connect the package.<\/p>\n

YASKAWA\u2019s SPRiPM permanent magnet motor that meets the efficiency requirements of the
\nhighest class, IE4, according to IEC TS 60034-31, is now available in a package with the V1000 inverte
\nr drive. The motor-specific parameters are already integrated into the drive software, meaning that the plant manufacturer simply has to connect the motor\/inverter package.<\/p>\n

According to YASKAWA, the SPRiPM fulfils the requirements for the Super Premium Efficiency rating of t
\nhe relevant EU directives, four years before these requirements even go into effect.<\/p>\n

Currently, a total of nine different versions are available: for motor shaft outputs of 1.5 kW to 18.5 kW, for a nominal speed of 1500 or 3000 revolutions per minute (rpm), with standard frame sizes from 71 to 132 and standard foot or flange mounting (B3\/B5). All models are CE, REACH, RoHs and IP55-compliant, YASKAWA reports. Other intermediate sizes are currently in development. With its modular design, the motor can be enhanced with options such as temperature sensors, encoders, special bearings or higher IP protection designs.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer says that the combination of the SPRiPM and the YASKAWA V1OOO inverter drive offers a
\nhigh-performance IE4 drive package with standardised technology for a wide variety of applications, including compressors, conveyors, extruders, hydraulic lifts, systems in the beverage industry, and conventional fans and pumps.<\/p>\n
