Global consultancy Frost &amp; Sullivan gave the Product Line Strategy Leadership Award to Kathrein for the outstanding added value that it offers to its customers. Particular tribute was paid to the fact that the company combines expertise in both RFID hardware and software.<\/p>\n<p>Frost &amp; Sullivan sees the identification of objects through the use of passive RFID as a key technology for the Internet of Things (IoT). The consulting firm explains in its justification for the award that Kathrein, as a solution and system provider in this field, is unargued in the market. <em>\u201cKathrein is very successful in reducing complexity for its customers and meeting their needs as best as possible,\u201d<\/em> said Frost &amp; Sullivan Senior Research Analyst Ram Ravi. This was also due to the acquisition of long-time software partner noFilis.<\/p>\n<p>Frost &amp; Sullivan found that Kathrein focuses on its customers\u2019 individual requirements and is therefore first choice for renowned companies such as IBM, Daimler, VW, and Bosch for AutoID systems, and lauded Kathrein for continually improving its existing solutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cKathrein is characterised by a rigorous and well-planned strategy that makes the company the leading provider of professional identification solutions in the field of ultra-high-frequency technology,\u201d<\/em> said Ravi. <em>\u201cNo other brand was as well established in the market as Kathrein.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are very proud of the prestigious award.
