Advantech, a leading embedded computing solution provider, announced the release of its latest new thin barebone system with 6th Gen. Intel\u00ae Core\u2122 Processors \u2013 EPC-T2285. This system is designed with Intel\u00ae 6th generation Core\u2122 I processors which have high processing and graphic performance. The integrated Intel\u00ae Gen 9 graphics, which are featured in this new microarchitecture, supply up to two independently operated 60 Hz 4K displays via DisplayPort or HDMI Port. EPC-T2285 can also support Wall\/ VESA\/ Rack mounting.<\/p>\n

Thin Design and High Performance for Space-limited Desktop Solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The EPC-T2285 measures just 250 x 44.2 x 225 mm. The height is only 1U, but it uses the high processing capability of a desktop CPU up to deliver high performance. The motherboard uses Advantech\u2019s AIMB-285 thin Mini-ITX form factor industrial motherboard supporting 14 nm process quad\/dual-core Intel\u00ae 6th Core\u2122 i7\/i5\/i3 and Celeron\u00ae processors. The Intel\u00ae H110 Express chipset supports Dual Channel DDR4 2133MHz memory (up to 32GB) in two SODIMM slots. Features include integrated Intel\u00ae Gen 9 graphics (Display Port, HDMI out- puts), dual Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x serial ports (1x RS-232\/422\/485, 1x RS-232 w\/ 5V 12V), Audio jack w\/ Mic in, line out, 1 x mPCIe w\/ mSATA, 1 x mPCIe for a wireless module, and a 2.5\u03a6 power jack with 12V DC input.<\/p>\n
