Power management company Eaton has launched its Xcel Series Low Speed High Torque Disc Valve motors designed for low and medium duty applications to optimise performance with value and reliability.<\/p>\n

XL2 and XL4 motors share a three-zone design allowing true bi-directional operation and a case drain facility that improves resistance to pressure spikes and extends seal and motor life. The motor\u2019s easy-to-design-in features and displacements makes it an ideal solution for applications with more generic design needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to end users changing requirements and increased competition, mobile machine manufacturers are looking for motors specifically designed to match work circuit duty cycles to reduce their overall cost. Eaton`s Xcel series Disc Valve High Torque Low Speed motors offer value and performance for low and medium duty applications. They are optimised to provide premium performance at a manageable price point\u201d said John Taylor, EMEA Product Manager.<\/p>\n

Many applications demand a mix of higher and lower rated motors for different functions. This means either having multiple suppliers or compromising price or performance of motors from one supplier. Complementing the Char-Lynn premium line, Xcel can be applied to the lower to medium duty functions, with one single supplier for all levels of motor performance.<\/p>\n

Eaton`s Xcel series Disc Valve High Torque Low Speed motors offer the most popular options for shafts, ports, mounts and displacements to simplify and shorten the design process. XL2 motors have the option for integral valves, offering a space and weight saving alternative to separate manifolds. Dual threaded and manifold ports are also offered for flexibility and simplicity.<\/p>\n
