Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in machine vision, announced the extension of its Linea family of low-cost, high-value line scan cameras with a new 16k CLHS model.<\/p>\n

The new Linea\u2122 16k CLHS camera delivers the exceptional performance and features found in the current lineup of high-end cameras at an unprecedented price point. Based on the most advanced CMOS line scan technology, the camera employs a 16k single line, 3.52 \u00b5m x 3.52 \u00b5m pixel array at a 71 kHz maximum line rate. The new model offers cost-effective solutions for flat panel display, printed circuit board, web inspection and general purpose machine vision applications.<\/p>\n

Linea cameras are compact, light weight and robust with flat-field correction, multiple ROI and AOI, multiple user configuration sets, and calibration coefficients for various lighting conditions. GenICam\u2122 compliant Linea is easy to set up and integrate using a GUI, such as Teledyne DALSA\u2019s Sapera\u2122 camera configuration utility CamExpert.<\/p>\n

With its CLHS interface, the new 16k model effectively reduces the number of cables required from its companion Camera Link models, allowing for distances of up to 15 metres on copper with support for plug-in active optical fiber cables for deployment beyond 15 metres.<\/p>\n
