Providing a surface figure of \u03bb\/8 RMS and a surface roughness of fewer than 50\u00c5 RMS, these precision mirrors are designed for low scatter in the visible spectrum.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They are excellent when used for focusing, collimation, beam expansion, and optical testing systems such as MTF test benches. The EO OAP family has expanded from five models to more than 40 models, providing additional options and flexibility. Examples of these additional options include two new coatings, Protected Gold and UV Enhanced Aluminum, and a new size, \u00bc\u201d, within the product family. The product family will continue ot expand in the upcoming months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Designed to decrease scatter in the UV and VIS regions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TECHSPEC\u00ae Low Scatter Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors precisely direct and focus incident collimated light at a specific angle, resulting in minimal scatter loss. Designed using a proprietary process that decreases scatter in the UV and visible region, each TECHSPEC\u00ae Low Scatter Off-Axis Parabolic Mirror undergoes a visual inspection with a HeNe laser to ensure low scatter. These aluminum 6061-T6 substrate mirrors are characterized with improved surface roughness (&lt;50\u00c5 RMS) and surface figure (\u03bb\/8) when compared to standard off-axis parabolic mirrors.
