Advantech, a leading embedded computing solution provider, announced the release of its latest new EPC-T3285 THIN barebone system powered by 6th Gen. Intel\u00ae Core™ processors with high processing and graphic performance. The integrated Intel\u00ae Gen 9 graphics, which are featured in this new microarchitecture, supplies up to two independently, operated 60 Hz 4K displays via DisplayPort or HDMI ports. EPC-T3285 can also support a wide range of power inputs (9~36V DC) and has one full height PCIe expansion slot. All these features are well suited for surveillance, machine vision, automation, and intelligent kiosk applications.<\/p>\n

1U THIN High Performance Design for Space Limited Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 1U EPC-T3285 has the high processing capability of a desktop CPU and offers flexible expansion for space limited applications. A 1U PCIe slot allows installation of different expansion add-on cards for applications such as a production line quality checking solution. This kind of automation system needs a lot of cameras for full-scale close-up quality recording (start to end). The 1U EPC-T3285 is designed for space limited applications with a single PCIe slot allowing add-on connection to 4 intelligent cameras with alarm warnings that can be set alarms to alert managers of potential issues. EPC-T3285 also provides multiple I\/O for these kinds of complex production lines, such as several USB ports, serial ports, and Mini-PCIE.<\/p>\n
