In order to function smoothly, LED lights require a preconnected driver to regulate the current flow: it converts the alternating current into constantly low direct current and suitable DC voltage \u2013 for even light output and minimal heat generation.<\/p>\n

Whether dealing with production halls or greenhouses, sports fields or ports, car parks or industrial areas: lighting systems in indoor and outdoor areas are increasingly relying on power-saving LED light.<\/p>\n

Pewatron has extensive experience with LED technology, as well as a supplier network which specialises in technical innovation and high quality \u2013 including companies likes Mean Well, a technological pioneer.<\/p>\n

Mean Well supplies, for example, the HVGC-650 series with a wide input voltage range of 180 to 528 V AC. It features a constant power mode and achieves a high efficiency level of up to 95.5%. It offers excess-voltage protection of 8 kV (L\/N\u2013FG) \/ 4 kV (L\u2013N), a particularly broad working temperature range (-40 \u00b0C to 90 \u00b0C) and an auxiliary output of 12 V at 200 mA (optional) \u2013 or a DALI interface (digital addressable lighting interface ) for control via connection to the Internet of Things (IoT).<\/p>\n
