The Mannheim-based company Pepperl + Fuchs, one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial automation technology, will take over the business of Comtrol Corporation on February 1, 2019. Comtrol, an American pioneer in Ethernet-based industrial communication and IO-Link master gateways, is well-established in the market, inter alia, with the RocketPort\u00ae product range. Comtrol’s technologies will ideally complement Pepperl + Fuchs’ innovative sensor and communication solutions such as Sensor4.0\u00ae, AS-Interface, IO-Link and Connectivity. With the expansion of the portfolio of Ethernet network modules and fieldbus modules, Pepperl + Fuchs is taking the next step towards Industry 4.0: There are even more solutions available that close the gap between the sensor \/ actuator and control levels right down to the cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure that Comtrol’s customers continue to receive products and services as usual, the new company Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol Inc. was founded. The headquarters of Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol Inc. remains in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. By integrating Pepperl + Fuchs Comtrol Inc. into the Pepperl + Fuchs Group, Comtrol customers will benefit from the Group’s global reach and access to additional automation solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
