The CERATIZIT Group has brought together four of the World\u2019s leading competence brands – Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT, KOMET, WNT and KLENK which forms the new TEAM CUTTING TOOLS as a global full solution supplier within the cutting industry. For the first time, the TEAM CUTTING TOOLS introduced itself explicit to the aerospace industry with its innovative tooling solutions at the International Air Show in Paris last June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CERATIZIT Group, now employing more than 9000 people across the world, presents itself after the integration of the German precision tool manufacturer KOMET with its new and dynamic structure at the Air Show. Also represented is the competence brand KLENK as part of the new TEAM CUTTING TOOLS. KLENK is primarily focussed on the aerospace sector and a well-known name within this industry. At the Air Show in Paris CERATIZIT provides the visitors an insight into a specific product range which is an important part of the latest cutting solutions in the aerospace sector. One of these solutions is the optimized milling tool MaxiMill211 \u2013 K, especially suitable for production requirements in the aerospace industry. The perfect mixture out of diverse parameter bring a high-performance system about. The tight-fitting inserts ensure a clean cut and permit high cutting rates as well as the applicable tool holder diameter which offers top stability. A maximum of process reliability and quality is guaranteed through an integrated chip space for an optimal chip clearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benchmark in Titanium machining<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CERATIZIT Group sets benchmarks within titanium machining with its insert grade CTC5240 concerning tool life and chip removal rate. This cutting material combines the features of a fine-grained carbide and a hardwearing CVD coating and withstands highly abrasive materials even with a cutting speed of 60m\/min. The secret lies in the highly viscous base substrate which guarantees, in combination with a thin PVD layer, a good ratio between abrasion and tool life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
