In times of human-robot interactions, the topic of safety is becoming increasingly important for manufacturing companies. For this reason, Heidrive GmbH has now added a new and safe controller solution to its product portfolio. The ACTILINK expands the diverse portfolio of integrated electronic motors with flange dimensions of 60 and 80 mm and presents high performance in a compact package. The servo motor with integrated electronics was specially developed for demanding robotics projects and machines. Compactness, performance and safety with high modularity are the biggest cornerstones of this development. Important safety functions such as Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Brake Control (SBC) are already integrated as standard. Further options are available for functional safety in accordance with IEC 61800-5-2, so that SIL 3 (PL e) can be achieved. ACTILINK thus also meets all the requirements of the future automation world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The servo motors from the HeiMotion Dynamic series serve as the basis for the new drive system. They offer a high degree of modularity in the 24 V and 48 V range. The 60 and 80 mm versions are each available in four different lengths with rated speeds of 3,000 to 6,000 rpm. The addition of an EtherCAT connection to the interfaces provides further advantages in terms of speed and compatibility with common industrial controllers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
