The GEM\u00dc 4242 combi switchbox is awarded ATEX approval for use in AS-Interface and DeviceNet fieldbus systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GEM\u00dc 4242 combi switchbox is designed for the most\nvaried industrial working environments and all common process landscapes. These\nalso include special requirements for areas of application in explosion\nprotection such as ATEX, IECEx and NEC, for which the GEM\u00dc 4242 combi switchbox\nhas the corresponding approvals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the GEM\u00dc 4242 combi switchbox covers the\nmost varied electrical connection scenarios. This includes communication via\nIO-Link as well as integration in modern fieldbus systems such as AS-Interface\nor DeviceNet. Backward compatibility is guaranteed; and the integration option\nwith various AS-Interface profiles also enables retrofitting of older plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GEM\u00dc 4242 combi switchbox is systematically\ndesigned for user friendliness. Microprocessor controlled functions and\nintelligent and user-friendly programme routines facilitate easy commissioning\nand service of the valves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
