The exclusivity agreement was signed by AVK\u2019s UK Managing Director Chris Pritchard, MTU\u2019s UK Managing Director Bruce Phillips and Vice President Power Generation at the Rolls-Royce Power Systems business unit, Andreas Goertz, recently in London. \u201eThe outstanding cooperation with AVK so far has demonstrated that we are stronger together and able to deliver even better products and services to our customers. Therefore we are extremely pleased with this agreement \u201c, explains Andreas Goertz.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement covers the supply of MTU Series 2000 and 4000 diesel systems in a range extending from 825 to 4,000 KVA. AVK provides turnkey standby power systems and UPS systems, in addition to taking care of their installation and maintenance.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Chris Pritchard explains: \u201cWith many of the world\u2019s major companies recognising MTU as the benchmark for diesel generators, AVK has been using MTU products and solutions for over 20 years for its standby power systems. We firmly believe that the combination of MTU\u2019s reputation for class-leading performance coupled with AVK\u2019s specialist knowledge and extensive experience will provide the perfect platform for growth in the critical power market. Together we remain focused and committed to providing outstanding customer service to our customers across the U.K. and Ireland.\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the past 30 years, AVK has developed into the largest solutions provider in the UK\u2019s critical power market and has to date supplied gensets equipped with MTU engines with a total of more than 3.5 GW of power for data centres and for the financial, telecommunications and health sectors in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Andreas Goertz stresses: \u201cThe majority of the major global internet companies put their trust in MTU emergency standby gensets to safeguard their data centres.
