The German Innovation Award is presented once a year by the German Design Council for innovations &#8211; which advance the industry through their originality, implementation and effectiveness. ACD Elektronik GmbH was able to prevail among 700 submissions with its contribution to the Mobile Handheld Computer M2Smart\u00ae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Industrial handheld computer rethought: the modular M2Smart\u00ae platform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The innovative M2Smart\u00ae, a mobile industrial device with Android&#x2122; Industrial+ was able to convince the independent, international jury of experts with its outstanding innovative performance. The special feature of the industrial handheld computer M2Smart\u00ae is a patented sliding mechanism that allows modules to be attached quickly and without tools. A wide variety of modules, such as emergency stop buttons, keyboards, RFID readers, temperature sensors, printers and payment modules can be attached easily and without great effort and can also be adapted to customer specifications. The variety of end devices is thus significantly reduced, which provides the user with a clear advantage as well as measurable time and cost savings. ACD Elektronik GmbH has already won the iF Design Award with the M2Smart\u00ae 2020. Together with the award now received, this is a great success for this innovative product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">German Innovation Award: The prize that makes innovation visible <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The German Innovation Award honors products and solutions across all industries that differ primarily in user-centricity and added value compared to previous solutions.<br>Founded by the German Bundestag and sponsored by German industry, the German Design Council promotes the competitiveness of companies.
