With the death of Egon K\u00f6nig in May 2019, the shareholders appointed him Chairman of the Supervisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was an unusually long period of time during which Otmar Stein, highly regarded in the industry and a passionate supporter of K\u00f6nig + Neurath, bore responsibility and, together with Egon K\u00f6nig, made a decisive contribution to the company&#8217;s success in the office furnishings market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He will continue to perform his duties as usual until 31.12.2020, when he will retire from this position at K\u00f6nig + Neurath.
