At FMB S\u00fcd on 11 and 12 May 2022, the mechanical and plant manufacturers met with their suppliers. As one of the leading international full-range suppliers of drive technology, NORD was also in Augsburg to present its innovative drive systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights at the NORD stand is the new DuoDrive. The innovative and patented geared motor integrates a high efficiency IE5+ synchronous motor into the housing of a single stage helical gear unit and sets new standards for performance, installation space and reduction of variants. Elimination of many wearing parts results in lower maintenance. Overall, the DuoDrive enables a significant decrease of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in comparison with existing .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High efficiency, compact design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The energy-efficient IE5+ permanent magnet synchronous motors achieve their high efficiency via a wide torque range \u2013 and are optimally suitable for operation in the partial load range for example in intralogistics, the food or pharmaceutical industry. The decentralised frequency inverter NORDAC ON features an integrated Ethernet interface, full plug-in capability and an extremely compact design and offers an economical plug-and-play solution for IIoT environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
