The shareholders of the Lower Saxony-based biogas all-rounder EnviTec Biogas decided on the new composition of the Supervisory Board at the virtual Annual General Meeting in early July. In addition to the Chairman Ulf H\u00fcttmeyer, currently Executive Vice President at EMP Structured Assets GmbH in Munich, Silvia Breher, Member of the German Bundestag, was elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board. “As a link between the “old” and the “new” Supervisory Board, Michael B\u00f6ging acts as our Deputy Supervisory Board,” says Olaf von Lehmden, CEO EnviTec Biogas AG. B\u00f6ging has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two new members of EnviTec’s Supervisory Board are well-known business and political figures. “We are proud to have Silvia Breher, an ambassador of agriculture from the Oldenburg M\u00fcnsterland, in our ranks,” von Lehmden continued. The fully qualified lawyer was a self-employed lawyer. She held the position of managing director of the Kreis Landvolks Verband Vechta from 2011 to 2017. She has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ulf H\u00fcttmeyer replaces Tobias Schulz, who has been Chairman for many years, as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The business graduate worked at Commerzbank for many years. During his career there, he not only held positions in Germany, but also in Asia. “His foreign and economic expertise is a valuable background for us as a global player with a home port in Germany,” von Lehmden continues. The father of two was, among other things, Chief Financial Officer at Air Berlin for about nine years. After another executive position in the aviation industry, H\u00fcttmeyer has now been Executive Vice President at EMP Structured Assets GmbH in Munich since 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
