Together with the management consultancy CIM Aachen, Rodriguez examined the processes in manufacturing and defined approaches for optimisation. Part of this strategy is the introduction of the business intelligence tool Qlik Sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to improved master data quality and process transparency, the introduction of the tool in day-to-day operations helps in particular with the prioritisation and efficient execution of tasks. With the help of the tool, those responsible receive a transparent view of the current situation in production based on data sources and approved key figures at the push of a button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodriguez initially focused on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, lead-time deviation, employee productivity, machine availability and performance level. The data is taken directly from the ERP system and a time recording system, linked in the BI tool and visualised. A daily update run during the night ensures fresh key figures before the start of each working day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
