In the fall of 2022, thyssenkrupp Rasselstein’s coating line 13, the most technologically advanced line of its kind, was in operation. The line uses an innovative coating technology – Trivalent Chromium Coating Technology (TCCT\u00ae<\/sup>) – which is based on chromium(III) in the production process instead of the chromium(VI) previously used. The product manufactured on the line thus fully complies with the requirements of the EU REACH Regulation. The VA 13 is the first strip chromium plating plant in the world to produce exclusively TCCT\u00ae<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITT Rheinh\u00fctte Pumpen GmbH has been selected to supply this production process with a total of 67 pumps of the energy-efficient series RCNKu+<\/sup>, RVKu and RCKu and to ensure chromium(VI)-free production of packaging steel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
