In no time at all, the Hainbuch clamping head adapter turns a large clamping head into a small one. This allows a quick change-over to another clamping diameter and eliminates the purchase of large clamping heads. The clamping head adapter converts for example, a 100 chuck into a 65 chuck. To do this, the clamping head adapter is inserted into the 100 chuck and the normal 65 clamping heads are inserted. Often large workpieces are clamped with large chucks and large clamping heads. However, what happens when smaller workpieces have to be machined in between? Instead of buying large clamping heads with a small diameter or changing the entire chuck \u2013 which in turn increases the setup time \u2013 the clamping head adapter is used. Smaller clamping heads are usually in stock and have a lower price. In addition, if users already use smaller clamping heads, they save on the purchase of new large clamping heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
