Even before its completion, the team around Business Development Manager&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoermann-intralogistics.com\/en\/node\/24#robotics\">Tom Walther<\/a>&nbsp;has now already received the order for a second&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoermann-intralogistics.com\/en\/robotics\/micro-fulfillment-solutions\">micro-fulfillment<\/a>&nbsp;project for a new logistics building of the online delivery service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For H\u00d6RMANN Intralogistics, this is a double reason to celebrate. Because the new project marks the 50th AutoStore\u00ae system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simultaneous picking of refrigerated and non-refrigerated goods from AutoStore\u00ae<\/strong><br>For the innovative design of the AutoStore\u00ae system, the different temperature zones &#8220;Ambient&#8221; and &#8220;Chilled&#8221; were combined in the planning of H\u00d6RMANN Intralogistics so that it is possible to pick dry and chilled goods from both systems for one order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AutoStore\u00ae System &#8220;Chilled&#8221; for refridgerated goods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Approx.&nbsp;6,400&nbsp;AutoStore containers<\/li><li>14 &#8220;Red-Line&#8221; Robots&nbsp;<\/li><li>8 conveyor ports for putaway and picking<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also included in the scope of delivery is the complete housing of the chilled system as well as the cooling technology to operate the system at 2\u00b0C.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ambient&#8221; AutoStore\u00ae system for room temperature items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Approx. 7,500 bins<\/li><li>19 &#8220;Red-Line&#8221; robots&nbsp;<\/li><li>6 carousel ports and 2 conveyor ports for storage and retrieval<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, a two-part conveyor system for container tendering and removal, as well as a comprehensive steel structures are included in the scope of delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second flaschenpost AutoStore\u00ae system is scheduled to go into operation with the completion of a new logistics site at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, please visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoermann-intralogistics.com\/en\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/www.hoermann-intralogistics.com\/en\/news (opens in a new tab)\">https:\/\/www.hoermann-intralogistics.com\/en\/news<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the first, innovative combined cooling and room temperature&nbsp;AutoStore\u00ae system&nbsp;in Langenfeld (Rhineland), H\u00d6RMANN Intralogistics convinced those responsible at flaschenpost.
