The theme of this year’s Swissbau, taking place from January 16 to 19, 2024, in Basel, is “Building Future Together.” At the leading trade fair for the construction and real estate industry, architects, engineers, specialized planners, and craftsmen in Switzerland can explore the latest innovations, trends, and solutions in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For us as office furniture manufacturers collaborating closely with interior designers, Swissbau serves as a welcome kickoff to an eventful exhibition year themed ‘HERE.NOW.NEXT.’ Our goal is to engage even more with project planners, interior designers, and architects in 2024, seeking common ground. We aim to discuss topics currently relevant to us all and collaboratively develop ideas for the future,” says Ren\u00e9 Stichel, Managing Director of K\u00f6nig + Neurath (Schweiz) GmbH. “We look forward to presenting sustainable ‘Made in Germany’ solutions on the jointly designed area in the concept section, in collaboration with our partner Artemide.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modular furniture for various work formats<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Stichel states that the premium manufacturer will showcase its latest product developments in January, reflecting the increasing integration of work and private life, gaining greater relevance across all areas. “At the beginning of the year, we present our space-structuring and homely shelving system ACTA.PRO and the soft-seating program WAVE. Both furnishing solutions are highly versatile, adaptable, and particularly sustainable. We firmly believe that sustainable office design must be adaptable, meaning it can be used for various requirements and can be rebuilt and redesigned prospectively.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In conversations, it becomes clear what sets our solutions apart.”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“The dialogue with decision-makers and project leaders is crucial for us,” emphasizes the Managing Director Switzerland. “In direct contact, we convey the high-quality product ‘Made in Germany.’ We can demonstrate how we incorporate circular economy and long life cycles from construction to long-term service. Our entire product portfolio is LEVEL 3 certified and mostly awarded with the Blue Angel. Short distances and trusting relationships with suppliers and customers are key to our success.
