KG,\u201d explains Mathias Gastler, Co-Managing Director of EnviTec Bioenergie G\u00fcstrow GmbH. There is currently a lot of interest in LCO2. Bio-LCO2 is a real all-rounder that is used in areas such as food preservation, the beverage and chemical industries, welding work, and air conditioning systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Germany\u2019s largest biogas producer, EnviTec Biogas, operates the 20-hectare plant as an independent supplier of green fuel. \u201cA great deal of intuition and an investment volume of over EUR 50 million were required before the opening ceremony in August last year,\u201d concludes von Lehmden. \u201cWe\u2019re currently in the process of expanding the plant,\u201d says von Lehmden. The plant stands out above all for its flexibility: \u201cIt allows us to liquefy biomethane fed into the natural gas network,\u201d Gastler continues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A milestone in the company\u2019s history<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eu.vocuspr.com\/Publish\/3899177\/vcsPRAsset_3899177_462203_0be14d47-c50b-4530-892b-a63acf181f20_0.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption><em>Up to 25,000 kg of bio-LNG per day and 18,000 tons of LCO2 per year are produced here, primarily from agricultural residues\u00a0<\/em><br>Photo by EnviTec Biogas AG<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With the plant, the biogas all-rounder has created a true flagship project. \u201cThe fact that everything is going so well is a fantastic team effort that we can all be proud of,\u201d the two Managing Directors agree. The dependency of the individual process steps is many times more complex than in pure biogas plant construction. \u201cOur experience from over 20 years of plant construction and operation goes hand in hand with the expertise of our colleagues from energy marketing,\u201d emphasizes CEO Olaf von Lehmden.
