The two companies have signed a contract for the installation of Vanderlande\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanderlande.com\/warehousing\/solutions\/fastpick\/\">FASTPICK<\/a>&nbsp;solution at the 34,000m2 facility, which is expected to go live in June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expo21xx.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/FastPick-700x467.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53890\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.expo21xx.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/FastPick.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.expo21xx.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/FastPick-149x99.jpg 149w, https:\/\/www.expo21xx.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/FastPick-350x234.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption>Photo by Vanderlande<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kappahl Group is moving from its existing logistics centre as part of its strategy to modernise logistic operations and manage business growth. Vanderlande\u2019s solution will help the company increase capacity and provides the opportunity to scale up in the future. The new logistics centre \u2013 combined with Vanderlande\u2019s future-proof logistic process automation \u2013 will improve service levels for Kappahl\u2019s online customer base across Europe and Asia, as well as its network of 330 stores located in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vanderlande\u2019s FASTPICK solution includes its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanderlande.com\/systems\/storage-as-rs\/adapto\/\">ADAPTO<\/a>&nbsp;automated storage and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expo21xx.com\/material_handling\/automated-storage.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"retrieval system (opens in a new tab)\">retrieval system<\/a>: 159 ADAPTO shuttles will access 86,000 storage locations across 28 aisles, before moving items to 16 ergonomic goods-to-person picking stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure complete efficiency, an inbound and outbound High Dynamic Storage buffer system is included in the design. Products arriving on a hanger will be handled by Vanderlande\u2019s&nbsp;AIRTRAX&nbsp;system.
