Dunkermotoren<\/a>, a brand under\u00a0AMETEK, is thrilled to power the racing car of the Milhagem Team from Minas Gerais University.Back in 2023, the Milhagem Team from Minas Gerais University in Brazil rocked the Brazilian edition of Shell Eco-Marathon in Rio de Janeiro. They participated with a new racing car powered by a\u00a0Dunkermotoren BG 75 brushless motor. With an incredible mark of 367 km\/kW, the Milhagem Team were eager to compete internationally and win the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n

This year, on April 03rd and 7th 2024, the Team participated in the American edition of Shell Eco-marathon, competing with 28 other teams from five countries in the historical Indianapolis Speedway. Among all the participants, the Milhagem Team was the first to pass Shell’s rigorous and minimalist technical inspection, showcasing their dedication and relentless effort in crafting a safe, agile, and super-efficient prototype. The students revved up their car on the track, notching two valid scores, with their highest hitting 188 km\/kWh, placing them a solid 15th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunkermotoren sends out a big shoutout to the team from Minas Gerais University and looks forward to seeing the Milhagem racing car tear it up on the winner’s podium again next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
