A special success for KAUP France, a wholly owned subsidiary of KAUP<\/a> GmbH & Co. KG: Together with its partners JUNG LOGISTIQUE and Jungheinrich, the French branch of the machine manufacturer was able to supply 33 attachments to the largest French brewery Kronenbourg as an original equipment manufacturer. With a market share of 25%, Kronenbourg is one of the market leaders in France.<\/p>\n\n\n

The brewery, which was first mentioned in 1664 and belongs to the third-largest brewery group in the world, the Danish Carlsberg A\/S, brews its beers in Obernai in Alsace. As part of a change of supplier, Kronenbourg commissioned the renowned family-run logistics company JUNG LOGISTIQUE to redesign its intralogistics. And the logistics professionals from S\u00e9lestat in Alsace implemented a customized solution for Kronenbourg, which relies on new forklift trucks – supplied by Jungheinrich – in combination with various KAUP attachments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated Fork Positioners of type T160BIZA and Double Pallet Handlers from the T429C model family are used. Almost all the attachments supplied are equipped with customized hydraulic Load Stabilizers. The Multi-Pallet Handlers in particular are frequently found in the beverage industry and beverage logistics. At Kronenbourg, however, it is mainly the universally applicable Fork Positioners that are used. Why? The load capacity of almost six tons and specially designed double forks allow up to four Euro pallets with beer kegs, crates, aluminum cans etc. to be transported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He adds: \u2018It was made possible by the constructive collaboration between our partners and everyone involved at KAUP.\u2019 The tight schedule was particularly challenging for KAUP’s design and production teams – for example, design changes for integration into the forklift mast had to be made and implemented in production within five months. In the course of 2024, all attachments were finally put into operation with the corresponding forklift<\/a> trucks at Kronenbourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
