Interoperability is one of the most pressing topics in intralogistics. For the first time, LogiMAT is dedicating an entire themed area to the efficient operation of mixed robot fleets. At the “Interoperability Hub” in Hall 8, Booth 8B29, Wiferion, Continental Mobile Robots, and SYNAOS, along with selected partners, will demonstrate how interoperability can be reliably implemented in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, mobile transport robotics has experienced unprecedented growth. With the increasing popularity of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and similar technologies, manufacturers and operators of warehouses and distribution centers face new, more complex challenges. To automate various transport tasks within a layout, they require a range of specialized transport solutions that must be operated and controlled together. Consequently, interoperability has become indispensable in modern intralogistics. It ensures the efficient and seamless operation of diverse transport systems on the shop floor by adhering to common technical norms and standards, enabling smooth communication and connectivity. This leads to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and greater flexibility in logistical processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At LogiMAT, visitors can experience firsthand how the harmonization of fleet management and hardware infrastructure is implemented. The event stage of the Interoperability Hub will host three days of innovation pitches, expert panels, product presentations, and customer cases from partners such as Omron, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and PohlCon, focusing on various aspects of interoperability and AMR applications. Spanning 180 square meters with a demonstration area, the booth will showcase numerous mobile robotic systems from different manufacturers in action. These systems are managed via SYNAOS’s central control system and recharged centrally using Wiferion’s inductive charging solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The practical demonstrations highlight that interoperable solutions are already enabling greater efficiency, lower operating costs, and maximum flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
