Jungheinrich<\/a> presents the new ETV 3i electric reach truck series at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart. The innovative trucks with lithium-ion batteries combine outstanding performance, compact design and improved ergonomics with greater cost efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new series offers load-bearing capacities of 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes and is specially optimised for medium and high-intensity usages. Thanks to its battery capacity of up to 690 Ah, the trucks can also handle difficult three-layer usages without any problems. In addition to their high performance, the reach trucks are also impressive in terms of their efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith the ETV 3i reach truck series, we are setting new standards in performance and efficiency. The needs of customers have never been as central as they are with the ETV 3i. These trucks combine top handling performance with optimised efficiency,\u201d explains Fabien Tozzi, Head of the Reach Truck segment at Jungheinrich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximum energy efficiency as a result of most advanced lithium-ion technology<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the ETV 3i series, Jungheinrich uses the most advanced lithium-ion technology. The trucks benefit from fast and intermediate charging capabilities, no maintenance requirements and sustainable energy efficiency. Their compact design also provides for the optimal utilisation of space in the warehouse: compared with previous models, the battery space in the new series is 70 mm smaller, further increasing manoeuvrability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A further highlight is the optionally available Jungheinrich loweringPRO <\/em>technology. It enables a particularly soft mast transition and doubles the regular lowering speed to as much as 1.2 m\/s. This is the highest lowering speed of any reach truck in the market and increases the handling performance by up to ten per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ergonomics and safety at the highest level<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ETV 3i series offers significant improvements in ergonomics and safety. A newly designed driver\u2019s area with increased legroom, height-adjustable air seat and improved access provide maximum comfort. A boarding step makes it easier for drivers of different body heights to board the truck. Further adjustment options for the steering wheel, seat and arm rest mean that the driver\u2019s area can be individually configured. An optimised storage design provides adequate space for hand scanners, water bottles and other items needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To increase safety, the series is optionally fitted with a panoramic driver\u2019s protective roof. The SmartStripe light strip can also be optionally integrated, providing improved visibility in the warehouse with its daytime running light (white), brake light (red) and indicator light (orange). Narrower struts in the driver\u2019s protective roof as well as a higher seat position also improve visibility. In addition, the low battery space enables the driver to have an excellent view of the reach truck\u2019s wheel arms, thereby effectively preventing damage to the rack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reach trucks<\/a> in the ETV 3i series are also optionally available with the IFOY-awarded addedVIEW fork arm camera. The fully digital camera with full HD resolution and integrated barcode scanner reads storage location data in real time and compares it directly with the goods management system. Errors during stacking and picking are thus already prevented during the process. Intelligent colour markings on the camera image and an ergonomic receipt function on the steering wheel make operation easier and ensure greater efficiency and process safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Floor-Spot integrated into the driver\u2019s protective roof projects a warning signal in the direction of travel. The standard drive wheel guard protects the operator\u2019s feet. A special monitoring function sounds a warning if a driver wishes to exit a moving truck. In addition, tried and tested Jungheinrich assistance systems such as curveCONTROL and driveCONTROL are available for the ETV 3i series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
