Lars Nielsen is no stranger to EnviTec&#8217;s expertise: the first gas upgrading unit was installed at his farm in 2017 with a starting capacity of 396 Nm\u00b3\/h. Over two upgrade phases, capacity increased to 468 Nm\u00b3\/h and then 510 Nm\u00b3\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe new expansion allows a gradual, flexible increase in production,\u201d Markerink explains. This flexibility helps operators adapt to&nbsp;<strong>market fluctuations<\/strong>, while optimizing how gas from&nbsp;<strong>liquid manure and organic waste<\/strong>&nbsp;is marketed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Efficiency, Lower Costs, Greater Sustainability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By enabling on-demand production, the upgraded system significantly boosts&nbsp;<strong>resource efficiency<\/strong>. \u201cWe can now save resources while cutting costs\u2014a true win-win for both the environment and the bottom line,\u201d says Lars Nielsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compact Design with Maximum Output<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A major innovation of the project is that&nbsp;<strong>the entire 1,000 Nm\u00b3\/h EnviThan system<\/strong>&nbsp;is housed in a&nbsp;<strong>single 45-foot container<\/strong>. Only the gas compressor is installed separately in a premium soundproof cabin. \u201cThis makes the plant even more compact and cost-efficient than previous two-container designs with half the capacity,\u201d adds Markerink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Driving Green Energy in Denmark<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biomethane plays a key role in Denmark\u2019s energy transition.<\/strong>&nbsp;According to Biogas Danmark, around&nbsp;<strong>37% of the country\u2019s gas consumption is already covered by biomethane<\/strong>. EnviTec Biogas has been active in the Danish market for over eight years.
