With the new, high-performance GEM\u00dc D40 diaphragm valve, valve manufacturer GEM\u00dc is launching a new valve type that is geared towards the requirements of the market. The GEM\u00dc D40 has been equipped with an innovative diaphragm technology and optimized with respect to its design, which enables an increase in performance at plants. This new valve product represents a further step towards the future for GEM\u00dc.<\/p>\n\n\n

The pneumatically operated GEM\u00dc<\/a> D40 diaphragm valve is designed for use in sterile applications. The diaphragm hermetically separates the actuator from the working medium. In addition, the GEM\u00dc D40 particularly impresses with its simple, safe and fast maintenance. The actuator is mounted via a defined union end on block (metal on metal) with only four collar nuts. Likewise, the diaphragm with bayonet pin facilitates installation, while the new diaphragm technology offers greater safety and precision in plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the new seal system with fixed chambering, the natural setting behaviour of the diaphragm is controlled such that it is no longer necessary to retighten the diaphragm. The optimized rolling behaviour of the diaphragm provides better controllability and ensures low stress on the diaphragm, meaning that maintenance intervals can be adapted to specific applications if necessary. The optimized body design not only saves weight but also ensures a high flow and homogeneous flow characteristics. This enables the GEM\u00dc D40 to achieve up to 100% higher Kv values. This increase in performance allows smaller valves to be used and therefore enables more compact planning of plants and a high degree of flexibility.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GEM\u00dc D40 diaphragm valve combines high performance with a state-of-the-art process solution that stands out with its simple operation, compact design and high process efficiency. With the launch of the newly developed, innovative product generation, GEM\u00dc is taking a step into the future. \u2018LEAP into the future\u2019, with its abbreviation for \u201cLean. Effective.
