Ergonomic Handling for Maximum Efficiency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

KNG 5P expert offers outstanding set-up efficiency. The direct-driven dressing spindle swivels into an ergonomically accessible position, allowing the diamond dressing tool to be changed conveniently from outside the machine. The optimized tailstock features an 850 mm stroke and adjustable pressure up to 2,000 N, extending the range of applications for clamping between centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wide Range of Applications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From gear wheels to pinion shafts and worms, the KNG 5P expert can grind workpieces with a face width of up to 670 mm. Its powerful direct-driven grinding spindle operates at speeds up to 9,500 rpm with drive torque up to 64 Nm. Grinding wheels ranging from 60 to 350 mm in diameter can be used, while the 400 mm diameter rotary table features a deep bore for long shafts, all in a compact machine footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advanced Grinding Options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Complex modifications are efficiently produced with almost twist-free double-flank grinding thanks to 5-axis interpolated grinding via an open swivelling axis. For worm grinding, the dressing arm fully swivels out of the working area, allowing a full 675 mm stroke. CNC-controlled cooling lubricant nozzles and an optional loading hatch enable automated operation, further enhancing productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
